Have you noticed you're not receiving notifications for some of or all of your chats? Here we will go over the troubleshooting steps you can take to ensure that notifications from your Drift desktop app come through properly!
One of the benefits to using our desktop app is that your notifications are delivered to you straight from your computer as opposed to our web app which uses Chrome to deliver notifications!

Check your computer's notification settings
Since our desktop app delivers notifications straight from your computer, you'll only have to check one place to ensure that notifications are working! The following steps will allow you to ensure the drift desktop app is able to receive notifications:
1. Click System Preferences > Notifications
2. Look for the Drift desktop app permission and ensure that you have it set to "allow".
