Display frequency are conditions set within your playbooks that determine how frequently a site visitor will see a specific playbook!
Selecting the Display Frequency
While building your playbook, after your targeting conditions are set you'll want to set how often your playbook is shown. Simply scroll down and select the appropriate radio button. You can also select what percentage of customers will see your bot.
Note: To change the percentage of targeted visitors, you'll need to be on V2 of the Widget and you'll need to be on the Premium or Enterprise plan.
Frequency Types and What They Mean
We have three different display frequencies and below we will cover what each type means and how they will make your playbooks behave.
On every page load: The playbook will only fire once. So if someone has a conversation and they refresh the playbook, they lose the conversation and the playbook starts over. If there is another playbook to fire on the same page, that new playbook fires.
Until they interact, once per session: The playbook will fire once every 30 minutes. So if someone has a conversation with the playbook and refreshes the page, they will lose the conversation and the next priority playbook will fire.
Until they interact, then hide it: Once a playbook fires, it will always stay. If the site visitor never clears their cache and cookies, the conversation they had stays forever.
