If you are using Office 365 to connect inboxes with multi-factor authentication to Drift (and the MFA cannot be removed from the inbox), use these steps.
If an inbox has multi-factor authentication (MFA), it can cause issues when connecting to Drift Email. Since we use OAuth2 to connect inboxes, MFA can cause an inbox connection to break every time the authentication resets.
This resource from Microsoft details how to manage your Trusted IPs for Azure AD Multi-Factor Authentication. This will bypass multi-factor authentication prompts for users who sign in from a defined IP address.
Following these steps, you can whitelist Drift's IP address so that when Drift establishes the inbox connection, MFA is bypassed and the connection will remain intact.
Following the steps in the article (link here), your team should whitelist this IP address: 126.96.36.199
