For larger companies, you may have specific teams, like sales or support, that work specific hours. You can set those up in Drift and target your Playbooks
In this doc, we'll cover
- setting up a team
- targeting a Playbook to fire based on a Team's availability
- other targeting, display, and audience conditions
If you're still in the process of building your bot playbook, check out our Overview of Building Playbooks!
The Teams feature is available on our Premium (formerly Company) and Enterprise plans.
Creating your Team

Setting up Playbook Targeting
Head to any of your existing Playbooks to set up targeting.
Bot Playbooks
For bot Playbooks, find the Audience section and add a Team status condition along with any other conditions.

For the full doc on Audience conditions, click here.
Other Playbook Types
For any other chat Playbook type, click Display conditions. To add a new condition, click Display with Targeting then Add Condition. Select the Drift tab under Choose your targeting and click Team in the dropdown.
You can click the + button to add multiple teams that may satisfy this condition. This means that your Playbook will show when any of the teams on the list are online. To separate Playbooks by team, you will need to create a separate playbook for each team.

Click Close in the top right to exit out of the condition selector and your Playbook's changes will save.
