Your entire team is now on the marketing team. With just a few clicks.
Has your company ever struggled with keeping the team's communication on-brand? Well look no further! Drift Signatures allows Drift admin to push content straight to your employees' Gmail accounts. This allows for complete control over employee email signatures and ensures 100% adoption.
Getting Started
First off, click into your Playbooks home here, and select the option to create a new "Signature Playbook"

If you already had a Drift Signature created prior to this, Drift will recognize that and take you to that one for you to edit!

Once you create the Drift Signature, you can only have one of these playbooks at any given time. You can feel free to archive, edit, or delete the playbook as you choose. The editor of the Drift Signatures uses Jinja (a specific style of templating), and you will have the ability to put more creative features into your signature if you wish.
There will be a template that you can use to create your signature, but there will also be options to add your own personalization tokens. All of the tokens will come from the sender, and the information will pull from your Drift profile, which can be edited here.

{{ sender.name }}
{{ profile.jobTitle }}, {{ org.name }}
{% if profile.phoneNumber and profile.visibility == 'PUBLIC' %}
{% if profile.phoneNumber %}{{ profile.phoneNumber }}{% endif %}
{% if calendar.connected %}Book a Meeting{% else %}Chat with Me{% endif %}

You can select either 5 different banners, or 4 banners and leave one as the "no banner" option--the total would be 5 altogether. Your "Company Social Media" will pull from your Company Information page under Team Settings> Users. Make sure you update the relevant information you want to have!

In Gmail
Be sure that you go to Gmail and click the gear icon on the top right hand corner and go to Settings>General to select "No Signature" under your signatures section.

When you are drafting up an email in Gmail, you can scroll through the banners on the bottom right hand corner of the editor. The banner will always automatically default to the last one you've used.
Reporting
You will be able to view all reporting for your Drift Signature in your Playbooks Home, by clicking into the "Signature" tab. The reporting will show:
- Views - emails opened that contain the signature
- Total Clicks - this only applies within the signature, not within the rest of the email!
- Total Conversations - this is measured by someone clicking on the link (within the signature) and someone chats in to a playbook that's on the page the link goes to
- Stats by Teammate - you will be able to see the teammates that get the most views/clicks/conversations from their signatures
This to Note:
- You cannot use the Drift Signatures outside of Gmail at this time
- Sales sequences and Drift Signatures cannot be used together
- To toggle on Signatures for replies, click the gear icon in your Chrome Extension and toggle on "Insert Signature into Replies"
- Members of your team will not be able to customize their signatures on an individual basis--everything will apply across the board
