The goal of Drift is to help you have more conversations. Our hope is that those conversations drive people to speak to your team through meetings, Zoom calls, etc. Sometimes, when booking time with a prospect in a conversation, you may want to invite additional members of your team to the call.
With Group Meetings, you can now invite multiple Drift teammates to the meeting within the app!
In this doc, we'll cover
- adding multiple participants to a meeting invitation
- setting the host for a multi-participant meeting
What plan is this for?
This feature is currently in active development. If you're interested in getting early access, please email firstname.lastname@example.org. At launch, Group Meetings will be available on the Pro plan and above.
Inviting Multiple Teammates to a Drift Meeting
Within the conversation view, click Book a meeting from the top of the compose bar. From there, you'll see a modal with options to invite team members. Select the desired team members from the drop down and click Send group meeting invite.
End users will see a familiar calendar card modal that displays only times during which both participants are available. This ensures everyone can attend!
In the conversation view, you'll see an updated calendar card with the information for both of your teammates in Drift.
Setting the Host of a Multi-participant Meeting
If you'd like to change the host of a meeting, hover over their name. A meeting host determines whose meeting information is sent to the end user / prospect, which includes things like location, notes, and confirmation/reminder settings.
