If you receive a request for data deletion on a contact record, you can now handle that in Drift Email using our Data Privacy feature.
You can find this feature by navigating to Settings > Data Privacy.
From there, you can search for a contact by email address, where you'll then be given the option to delete any associated contacts. Simply click "delete contact." In this example, we looked up firstname.lastname@example.org
Deleting in Bulk
We also have the option to upload a CSV of contacts you'd like to remove data for. This is a great option for maintaining compliance across multiple systems. You can drag and drop the file into the window or click "Choose a CSV" to pick one from your computer to upload.
The CSV should just have one column with the email addresses, and can have any heading for that column.
Seeing Past Deletes
You'll also be able to see a history of your deleted contacts under "deleted contacts audit history." You can also export the data of the contacts that you have deleted.
