Integrating Drift Email to HubSpot enables you to push contacts to lists, update properties, and create new contacts in your HubSpot account, based on the skills you customize in Drift.
Drift Insider Note:
Did you know we have a class on this integration over on Drift Insider? Check it out HERE
First, navigate to Settings in the lower left, then Integrations. In the dropdown menu, select HubSpot.
You'll then be redirected to HubSpot's authorization page and asked to enter your credentials.
After logging into HubSpot and authorizing the integration, head back to Settings > Integrations in Drift Email. Next to your HubSpot integration, click Test.
If the integration is successful, it will show up in green:
Why use Drift in lieu of Hubspot:
- HubSpot doesn’t allow you to book meetings as a routing fallback. The only fallback option is a message saying they’ll get back to you.
- Drift provides insights on anonymous visitors that HubSpot doesn’t. HubSpot phased out their prospector tool so you have no knowledge of who you’re chatting with/their location/etc. Drift provides some insights even if we don’t have their email.
- Drift notifies you when a target account is on your website. In HubSpot your only alternative is label someone as a target account.
