Typing indicator for Android
-
Why? It's difficult to tell whether an end user is typing a long message or if they’re waiting for you to say something. This little feature will reassure that the person you are speaking to is still on the line, adding more engagements to the conversation.
-
-
*Zoom integration
-
Why? Zoom is a huge part of our meeting workflow and creating a unique link for each meeting makes your meetings run smoother! We’re super excited to partner with Zoom so you book more meetings with Drift.
-
-
*Better attachments in v2 widget!
-
Why? All attachments are staged first (no auto sending...add or remove until ready to send). Drag and drop attachments anywhere in composer area (no longer can only use paperclip). Copy and pate directly! If attaching multiple files, display them nicely!
-
-
*Invite a team to round robin into a conversation
-
Why? Orgs that work in teams need to pass conversations off to other teams. Allowing them to invite from a team directly and let us handle who gets added lets them focus on getting their customers to the right person as fast as possible!
-
-
Online/offline status in v2 widget
-
Why? Site visitors want the assurance of knowing that the person they’re sending messages to is actually around to respond to them. Also, having the status in convo history allows the rep to know that someone might be right there to respond to them now!
-
-
Pride progress bar in onboarding
-
Why? Happy Pride Month!!!
-
-
*Site coverage data in playbook creation flow
-
Why? We know that the highest number of playbooks are created from the playbooks table and we want to create an experience to ensure they're setting themselves up to generate more conversations.
-
-
*Book group meetings in new convo experience
-
Why? So that customers can get the right people involved in a meeting with as little friction as possible .
-
-
*Simplified playbook testing
-
Why? It's something the people want, the people NEED! Seeing what your playbook is going to look like when it’s live on your site gives you confidence that you’re providing an engaging experience for your site visitors.
-
-
*More accurate IP data via Drift Intel
-
Why? Reverse IP data has become less accurate ever since COVID-19 made companies transition to WFH and this has impacted our customers' ability to identify site visitors, personalize messages accurately and feel confident about ABM notifications to name a few things.

*Push notifications you can trust
-
Why? As a rep, getting a push notification that an interested party is watching your content is an immediate hook for you to engage, typically by jumping into chat. A dropped notification decreases your trust in Drift Video, hinders your overall conversion pipeline with the product, and gives you that bad FOMO when you realize a big lead got away.

*An explanation of this ship is included in the video
