Congrats on launching your campaign with Drift Email 🥳 - here’s how to monitor its success.
Report on all campaigns
In the Drift Email app, navigate to the Campaigns tab to see high-level performance metrics for all your campaigns.
- Sends - total number of successful sends (excluding any contacts who bounced)
- Opens - total number of unique email opens (ie. if a contact opens the same email twice, this is counted as one open)
- Clicks - total number of unique clicks on any link (ie. if a contact clicks the same link twice, this is counted as one click)
At this time there is not a way to track if an email in a campaign has been forwarded to another contact. If an email is forwarded to another contact, that contact’s clicks and opens will be attributed to the original recipient of your campaign.
Report on individual campaigns
To deep-dive into a specific campaign, hover over the campaign to reveal the View report icon.
Total enrolled - total number of unique contacts who have been sent your email. In other words, if someone receives email 1 and 2, they are only counted once in total enrolled.
Total clicks - total number of unique clicks on any link (ie. if a contact clicks the same link twice, this is counted as one click)
Total conversations - total number of unique conversations (ie if a contact replies to your email twice, this is counted as one conversation)
Total lost - total number of contacts who have bounced or were not successfully delivered the email.
Use the dropdown in the upper right to change the date range on the report.
Scroll to the bottom of the Performance page to see a breakdown of campaign performance by individual email.
Individual email data will display at 0 until there are contacts in your campaign who have reached that step.
On the People page, you can see the status of each contact in your campaign, when they were enrolled, and any engagement with campaign emails.
To drill-down on a specific action (for example, all contacts who replied) click the second dropdown from the right.
To view contacts who engaged with a specific email in the campaign, use the dropdown on the far right.
If you hover over an individual contact, you will see the option to Unenroll them from the campaign. For more information on removing contacts, see this help doc.
