In addition to supporting audience lists loaded from your Marketing Automation Platform, Email Bots can follow up with Drift Chat conversations on a per-playbook basis.

In the Audience tab of a new Email Bot Campaign, select "Contacts who have abandoned a Drift chat conversation."
A dropdown list will show all the chat playbooks from your Drift Chat account. You can select as many as you'd like for a single email campaign.
And that's it! You're ready to save your changes and enable your Email Bot to start following up with chat leads.
There is no setup required in your app.drift.com Chat account to enable this feature. We do recommend, however, to check the audience targeting of your Chat playbooks as this determines who will receive your Email campaign.
How it works
Who will it email?
From the time you setup the chat followup email campaign, we'll begin tracking site visitors with known email addresses who have interacted with the playbook(s) you selected. Anyone who has a chat with the selected playbook(s) will be enrolled in the campaign. However, we'll exclude any site visitor that booked a meeting with your team through Drift in the last 30 days to avoid interfering with leads active in a sales cycle.
When will emails send?
By default, the first email in your chat followup campaign will be sent 2 hours after the site visitor's chat with your selected playbook(s) is initiated. You can extend this to a day or more by adding a delay to the first email in your email campaign.
